How do we celebrate it here on Catalina Island? I can honestly say that we spend it happily doing what we've done every single year for the past 43 years...staying at home and taking care of horses. This particular Christmas Eve blew in with a lot of windy drama about 3:30am. Not the same kind of wind drama that we dealt with on the plains of Colorado but with it whipping through the eucalyptus trees it still makes a statement for sure. The rain followed later that morning but the horses are all tucked in nice and dry.
