In addition to all the main ring action here at the Virginia Horse Center, there's been plenty going on in the Sport Horse world. Coordinating all the classes in the Reel arena is Marie Taylor and her excellent crew! Except for in the Dressage classes, all the Sport Horse Action (including the over fences classes) were double judged, both judges qualifying horses for Region 15. The 2017 Blue Ridge Arabian Classic is a wrap! It was strange to be Lindsey's office assistant versus a rider, but it was still super fun! I got to meet lots of new people, watch some super high quality horses, learn some new computer skills (the Best Mess show management system no less) and sit in the air conditioned office. Anderson Coliseum and Reel Arena both started at 9am this morning and the over fences classes started in the Wiley Arena at 10! It's was a lovely 74 degrees with 80% humidity. Not bad at all! 67 degrees and foggy is just a perfect way to start the day. Everyone is enjoying it because they know that by the afternoon it will be hot and steamy and possibly stormy! It should come as no surprise that the tenor of a show depends entirely upon the attitude of the show staff. Most times that will be the show secretary and in this case it's Lindsey Hager. We met Lindsey the first year we showed at the 2012 Silver Spur Show in Hamburg NY. It was the first show Lindsey manag
